Elden Ring: Omenkiller and Miranda the Blighted Bloom (Perfumer's Grotto) Boss Fight

Omenkiller and Miranda the Blighted Bloom are in the lowest tier of bosses in Elden Ring, Field Bosses, and are the end bosses of the Perfumer’s Grotto found in the South-Eastern part of Altus Plateau, just north of the capital gates. Like most lesser bosses in the game, they are optional in the sense that you do not need to defeat them in order to advance the main story.

As you probably know, bosses in Elden Ring are divided into three tiers. From lowest to highest: Field Bosses, Greater Enemy Bosses and finally Demigods and Legends.

Omenkiller and Miranda the Blighted Bloom are in the lowest tier, Field Bosses, and are the end bosses of the Perfumer’s Grotto found in the South-Eastern part of Altus Plateau, just north of the capital gates. Like most lesser bosses in the game, they are optional in the sense that you do not need to defeat them in order to advance the main story.

Summoning Black Knife Tiche for this fight was completely unnecessary as both bosses died very quickly, but as usual when faced with multiple enemies of the boss variety, panic is my go-to response. And it would seem that I have mapped the panic button to summon helping spirits.

Strangely, the boss version of the Miranda Blossom seemed to die faster than the regular Miranda Blossoms found in the dungeon on my way there, annoying as they are. But perhaps this is actually not a boss, but instead a particularly fragile flower that the Omenkiller was there to protect. I almost feel bad now. “Almost” being the keyword here ;-)

And now for the usual boring details about my character: I play as a mostly Dexterity build. My melee weapon is the Guardian’s Swordspear with Keen affinity and Chilling Mist Ash of War. My ranged weapons are the Longbow and the Shortbow. I was level 106 when this video was recorded. I would say that’s way too high for these bosses as they died very quickly and with very little effort on my part. I’m always looking for the sweet spot where it’s not mind-numbing easy mode, but also not so difficult that I will be stuck on the same boss for hours ;-)
