Elden Ring: Demi-Human Queen Gilika (Lux Ruins) Boss Fight

Demi-Human Queen Gilika is in the lowest tier of bosses in Elden Ring, Field Bosses, and is found behind a fog door in the underground part of the Lux Ruins in the Western part of Altus Plateau. She is an optional boss in the sense that you do not need to kill her in order to advance the main story of the game.

As you probably know, bosses in Elden Ring are divided into three tiers. From lowest to highest: Field Bosses, Greater Enemy Bosses and finally Demigods and Legends.

Demi-Human Queen Gilika is in the lowest tier, Field Bosses, and is found behind a fog door in the underground part of the Lux Ruins in the Western part of Altus Plateau. She is an optional boss in the sense that you do not need to kill her in order to advance the main story of the game.

I think I was very over-leveled when I happened to come across this boss, as it felt really easy. As far as I remember, I haven’t fought a Demi-Human Queen since I was exploring Weeping Peninsula in the very early game, but I do remember it a lot more challenging than this one. This video actually ended up being a lot shorter than I expected.

In order to get to the boss, you will need to get to the top of the Lux Ruins and then go down some stairs where you will see a fog door. If you don’t have access to the Grand Lift of Dectus, you will need to jump up the rock formations around the back, close to where the Golden Lineage Evergaol is.

And now for the usual boring details about my character. I play as a mostly Dexterity build. My melee weapon is the Guardian’s Swordspear with Keen affinity and Chilling Mist Ash of War. My ranged weapons are the Longbow and the Shortbow. I was level 105 when this video was recorded. I would say that’s way too high as this boss felt very easy, but it’s the level I happened to have reached by the time I got to it ;-)
