Landscape-oriented close-up photograph of several vivid red bat-faced cuphea flowers among green foliage. Three prominent blossoms are visible across the foreground and middle of the frame. The largest, near the upper-left center, has broad velvety red petals arranged around dark burgundy-to-purple facial markings and a projecting dark tubular floral structure tipped with pale yellow pollen-like material. A second sharply rendered flower near the center-right has a similar form, with bright red petals, two dark rounded markings, and an elongated dark purple central tube ending in a pale yellow cluster. A third flower at the right is positioned slightly farther back and is softer in focus. Additional red tubular flowers and dark reddish-purple buds appear behind and around the main blossoms. Glossy, oval to pointed green leaves and branching green-to-brown stems fill much of the left side and weave through the composition. The background consists of indistinct green, yellow-green, brown, and red vegetation, creating soft bokeh and visual separation from the foreground flowers.
