The leaves are elongated to oval with pointed tips, smooth edges, prominent veins, and glossy surfaces that reflect the sunlight. Several leaves are strongly backlit, producing translucent yellow-green areas where the vein structure is especially visible. Multiple spherical flower heads appear at different stages of development. The most prominent bloom is slightly right of center: a nearly round, creamy white flower head composed of many densely packed florets with long, fine, radiating filaments, giving it a pincushion-like appearance. Additional open white spherical flowers appear toward the left side and lower-left portion of the frame, while numerous unopened or developing flower heads are visible throughout the branches. These developing heads are compact, round, and green to yellow-green, with tightly clustered small projections.
