Elden Ring: Wormface (Altus Plateau) Boss Fight

Wormface is in the lowest tier, Field Bosses, and is found near the Minor Erdtree on Altus Plateau. Like most lesser bosses in the game, this one is optional in the sense that you do not need to defeat it in order to advance the main story.
As you probably know, bosses in Elden Ring are divided into three tiers. From lowest to highest: Field Bosses, Greater Enemy Bosses and finally Demigods and Legends.

This boss looks like a huge version of those deathblight-spewing creatures you have encountered on the way here. The boss spews a lot of deathblight too, and it also has a highly dangerous grab attack, that will result in it chewing on your face if it’s successful. You can see that happening to me because all the dirty tricks bosses do tend to be highly successful against me ;-)
I had only recently gotten access to a new tanky spirit, namely Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff, so I was eager to test him out in battle. I’m not sure how much good he did on this boss though, as it seemed much more interesting in chasing me and chewing on my tender flesh than dealing with an armored knight.
I’m not sure how difficult this boss would be if at an appropriate level; as with most of Altus Plateau, I felt significantly over-leveled here and managed to kill the boss quite fast, but if the fight had dragged out for several minutes, I think both the deathblight and grab attacks would have been a bigger threat.
And now for the usual boring details about my character: I play as a mostly Dexterity build. My melee weapon is the Guardian’s Swordspear with Keen affinity and Chilling Mist Ash of War. My shield is the Great Turtle Shell, which I mostly wear for the stamina recovery. I was level 113 when this video was recorded. I think that’s way too high as the boss died quite easily, but it’s the level I happened to be when I came across it. I’m always looking for the sweet spot where it’s not mind-numbing easy mode, but also not so difficult that I will be stuck on the same boss for hours ;-)
